History
The Void Tridents were created in the Ultima Founding at Guilliman's order during the Indomitus Crusade and recruit on the ocean world Talassar. They follow Ultramar's naval traditions, are experts in boarding actions and ship-to-ship warfare and, under Lord Commodore Theodro Vethrus, have also proven themselves in planetstrikes. Guilliman assigned them to protect Ultramar.
Notes
Veterans may wear a golden aquila on their pauldrons for every ten years of service; those in a boarding action that destroyed an enemy vessel outright earn a golden laurel and astral halo. Part of the Wardens of the Gauntlet.
