History

The Chapter traces back to the Ultramarines' 199th Company, which fought the Night Lords at Sotha during the Horus Heresy and then lived on as a phantom company. In the Third Founding Captain Oberdeii made it a Chapter of its own. In 992.M41 it lost Sotha to Hive Fleet Kraken and a Genestealer cult; 239 brothers fled to Miral. In the Indomitus Crusade it was reborn with Primaris Marines.

Notes

Let the civilians of Sotha govern themselves through a senate, a trust the Genestealer cult exploited. Also recruited at outposts such as Miral Prime. The falx recalls the Thracians; in mourning the hair is braided into a tress.
