History
The Retributors were created for the fan film Astartes and have been part of the background since 2021, when Games Workshop officially supported the project. The hunt for the leaders of the Argosa Uprisings in 482.M39 is recorded. According to the creator on Patreon they are Imperial Fists successors and fleet-based, with Augustus Vantor as Chapter Master.
Notes
Stern, efficient and distant; they want battlefield success over glory. Small self-sufficient units, especially Impulsor squads, aim to eliminate as many high-risk targets as possible. Active mainly along the Eastern Fringe.
