History

The Mantis Warriors are held to be a successor of the Marauders (White Scars lineage), probably of the Eighth Founding, and watch over the Endymion Cluster. In 587.M41 they were folded into the Maelstrom Warders and sided with the rebels in the Badab War. In 912.M41 they were forgiven but sent on a hundred-year penitent crusade; Chapter Master Khoisan Neotera was imprisoned for life, Ootheca went to the Space Sharks.

Notes

The gene-seed does not work properly with the Preomnor implant: in the Battle-haze marines react at near-precognitive speed, but the state is irreversible and narrows their sight to targets. The Praying Mantidae hunt the renegade Astral Claws. Many believe the Chapter cursed.
