History

The Chapter arose around M33 as an Ultramarines successor. In the Arios Point ambush (220.M38) Chapter Master Orlando Furioso and most of two companies fell, starting a feud with the Word Bearers; the Chapter swore to destroy Periclitor. In the Badab War (906-909.M41) its small task force was mauled by the Executioners at Khymara. It sent eight companies to the 13th Black Crusade.

Notes

Every oath counts as an eternal conflict until fulfilled; completed oaths are inscribed on parchment or armour. Mancora is kept in constant warfare to supply disciplined recruits and yields many psykers. The gene-seed is flawless. Fortress-monastery: The Proud Eyrie.
