History

The Exorcists were formed in late M35 or early M36 in the Dark Founding from Imperial Fists gene-seed; their founding is regarded as dubious, with only one message from Genetor-Major Lauram Clelland surviving. After Chapter Master Enoch Trismegistus was possessed on Totem IV, the Radical Plutonians sect of the Ordo Malleus was allowed to stay on Banish and introduced possession trials for aspirants.

Notes

Every Marine undergoes Daemonic Possession Therapy: twelve hours of possession by a minor Daemon in the Hall of Tempering, then expulsion; some do not survive. The offshoot Swords of Epiphany fell to Chaos.
