History

The Chapter's origins and early history are unclear; it is attested from late M32 (Astropath Wars). Its lore speaks of a 'Day of Exile' and a duty to hunt mankind's enemies beyond the Imperium's borders. In the Badab War it crushed the Mantis Warriors, laid waste to the Endymion Cluster and sabotaged the reactors of Badab Primaris. Afterwards the fleet vanished.

Notes

The Chapter Master is called Shade Lord and the Chief Librarian Pale Nomad, both old Raven Guard titles. The Chapter reveres the Forgotten One and his sire, the Void Father. After the Badab War it made young men of the Tranquility System fight for admission.
