History

The Chapter was based on Traekonnis Major and fought in M41 at Antillis IV against a World Eaters warband and in the First Taros Intervention. In 970.M41 its Third Company under Captain Gessart broke away and headed for the Eye of Terror. In the Noctis Aeterna of 999.M41 the homeworld was destroyed and every battle-brother was thought lost. Guilliman had the Chapter re-raised in the Ultima Founding, granting it Callimachus.

Notes

One of the ten Shield Chapters of Ultramar. In 992.M41 it joined, with four companies, the attack on the Night Reapers, who had been declared traitors, and had to withdraw from their warp-flame weapons, which bypassed its void shields.
