Alive (Thirty-six years old on Orlach. Held the Halrik Gate as rearguard on Saltzer's order, "until I say so". She speaks of Cadia only in the present tense; she broke the rule once, over Saltzer's body in Kasr Nihil: "Kasr Halrik has fallen." She does not say the words "Cadia stands"; her last word to an Ederhavener who said them was "Yes". Her left eye has been a cheap augmetic since the mole, and it sees in grey. She led the six Kasrkin through the Halrik Shadow into the gatehead of Kasr Nihil, shot Major Saltzer when he asked for absolution ("I absolve nobody. I am a sergeant."), shot Ischyron once in the back on the wall, and left "Kasr Halrik" standing in chalk on the gatehead. She counts: eleven, seven, six, five.)
