History

The Chapter arose in M34 under the mysterious Tygranas Dalir and is known for crushing rebellions without mercy. Since the Great Rift it has been trapped in the Gilead System, defending it against Daemons, xenos and rebels while gene-seed reserves dwindle. The Varonius Flotilla brought Primaris Marines, whom the Chapter received coldly and did not initiate into its rites.

Notes

The Chapter follows the Codex Astartes strictly and holds itself unworthy to be called Sanguinius' sons, planning to reveal its origin only after a long process of absolution. Many Scouts lead small cadres of mortals. Its emblem is a blood-red grail.
