Description
Zhao-Arkkad was reported lost to forces devoted to Tzeentch after contact with the world failed and its orbital traffic ceased answering hails. A Doomscryer prophecy held by the Aquilan Shield named the world and identified a single objective: an orbital platform in high anchorage above Zhao-Arkkad. The platform had been seized and converted into a ritual site. The prophecy warned that if the working aboard it was completed, the world below would be given over entirely.
A planetary assault was judged unnecessary and too slow. The Captain-Commander therefore ordered Shield Company Aquila Vigilans to make a direct boarding action against the platform at Onslaught strength. The objectives were to break the ritual, to kill or disperse its practitioners, and to deny the structure to the enemy. German only
