Odo Kettel

Flamethrower soldier in Karst’s squad, who walked last. The tank on his back was the only thing in the squad that gave off a little warmth, and the others liked to walk beside him. With Ammer he went every evening to the Nineteenth. In the Northern Barracks he walked upright into the corridor, the lasers hit him without making him stumble, and he burned down the barricade of Captain Brandt.
