Colchis, a theocratic feudal/desert world and home of Lorgar, heavily devastated by civil war and Imperial retribution. After the Heresy Sicarus in the Eye of Terror and the hell‑forge Ghalmek in the Maelstrom serve as their principal daemon‑world bases.
Combat Doctrine(s)
- Long‑term ideological subversion combined with mass warfare: seeding Chaos cults, corrupting populations and destroying Imperial faith before unleashing fanatical offensives with cultist hordes, possessed Marines and daemons. Dark Apostles act as political, spiritual and military leaders.
Epochs & Role
In the Great Crusade they act as zealous ‘Imperial Heralds’ until Monarchia’s destruction drives them into the arms of Chaos. In the Heresy they are the ideological engine of betrayal (corrupting Horus, creating the Gal Vorbak, sacking Calth, waging the Shadow Crusade) and fight at the Siege of Terra. In the Scouring they withdraw to Sicarus, form the Dark Synod and organise into hosts, with early splinters such as The Sanctified. In M41/M42 they remain a core daemon Legion spreading Chaos worship across the Imperium.
