Definition
The official language of the Imperium, used by officials, the nobility and the Ecclesiarchy and in high-level negotiations. It is uniform across the whole Imperium, which makes it the language of choice when people from different worlds must discuss complex matters; it is also used for inscriptions and formal texts. The counterpart to Low Gothic.
