Description
Veldrack is a temperate civilised world with long, damp winters and grey high pastures on which millions of sheep stand. The wool is processed undyed, because dyes must be imported, and importing is considered waste.

Fauna & Flora
Grey high pastures with millions of sheep that provide undyed wool; crows on the bell towers and sheepdogs that work to the stroke of the bell.
Population & Society
Some tens of millions in flat quarry-stone cities structured by bells; every Veldracker knows their place in three lists: district, guild, parish. With the draw of 961.M41 the district of Harlsgrund lost almost a whole generation of its accountants, and the evening peal needs twelve ringers who are no longer there.
