Segmentum Ultima
Description
Marked as a planet below the lettering of the Cicatrix Maledictum and north of the “Crimson Nova” (map “Galactic Corruption” (German edition: “Geflecht des Chaos”), where the storm is called “Blutrote Nova”); the planet symbol under the name is covered by the Cicatrix lettering in the photo. The entry gives the segmentum only by position. The name is the same on both editions of the map (Van Horne). Nothing further is established in the collection. Its position is converted from a photo of the map onto the Atlas disc and can be off by a few dozen units.
