Description
Tamrath was a desert world of salt pans, gravel plains and wandering dunes, with a well every forty kilometres between them. By day the temperature rose to 60 degrees, by night it fell below freezing. In the dust season the sky stood ochre for weeks, and visibility dropped to ten paces.

Fauna & Flora
Salt pans, gravel plains and wandering dunes, with a well every forty kilometres; thorn acacias at the wells, scarabs that smell water, and pack lizards that have outlived their caravans.
Population & Society
The world went under in 761.M41; what remained of its population lives on ships and in camps on other worlds and still names itself after its well. With the 211th went 312 well-borers, almost the entire year-class of the guild of Qasr Tamm; the whistling of the dune herders, a language of two-tone calls, is learned by no child any more.
