Description
Orlaxen lies on the south-western edge of the Imperium Nihilus and was, in the Dark Age of Technology, an outlying production site of the Legio Fornacis, a subordinate forge whose rank followed the standing of its masters. After the Horus Heresy the world's status fell, but not its guilt; the tithe is still levied.

Fauna & Flora
No flora; lichen grows on the outer walls of the foundries that the menials scrape off by hand, because the manual tolerates no growth, not even dead growth.
Population & Society
Some hundreds of thousands of menials and skitarii in a subordinate forge that still pays its debt although its rank fell after the Heresy. Three macroclades are carried on its books: the first defends the world itself, the second, Obsidio-Tau-Psi, is attached to the Ordo Reductor, and the third, Vigilus-Kappa-Epsilon, is permanently deployed off-world.
