Description

Kyrkos is a wilderness world of the category icy steppe. It orbits in the outer zone of a mediocre star and rotates only every 34 standard hours, sluggish as if in permanent weariness. Continents are cut by extensive fjord systems, mountains of grey, brittle basalt, and endless moors with standing lakes whose water is poisonous.

Fauna & Flora

Steppe grass and moor, poisonous standing lakes on which only seabirds breed; grey wolves in small packs and hawks that show the nomads the direction without anyone calling them.

Population & Society

Some tens of thousands of nomads who move between fjords, basalt mountains and moors and carve their dead into the stone of the fjord walls: every name is a stroke. The Grey Hawks, a small splinter chapter, take their aspirants from the clans whose fjord wall is full.
