Description

Kormorikhan is a jungle world in the system of the Sable Reach, dense with vegetation, but not with life in the usual sense. The surface is an endless jungle of giant fern and crystalline mosses that glint in weak, red sunlight. The sky is grey-green and overcast; it rains almost every day.
Home world of: The Shadow Wings (chapter).

Fauna & Flora

Giant ferns, crystalline mosses that sparkle in the red light, and shimmering beetles that glow at night in the fern fronds; rain almost every day, and with it the frogs.

Population & Society

Some tens of thousands of people in clearings that are constantly overgrown: whoever wants to hold a settlement must cut it out anew every day. The Shadow Wings take their aspirants from the settlements whose clearing is still open in spring.
