Description
Kassandor is a death world in the Kassandor system, about two hundred light-years from the Segmentum Pacificus, in those unknown border regions where the Imperial records grow thin. The surface is a chaos of stone pillars, deep canyons and fissures from which sulphur- and chlorine-laden vapours rise.

Fauna & Flora
Stone pillars with sulphur crusts, lichen forests in the canyons; fissure worms that live on chlorine vapour, and carrion flies that rise from every crack in a storm.
Population & Society
Some thousands of people in cave settlements in the lee of the stone pillars. Those who go to the surface wear a face of leather and a knife of obsidian. The Inferno Breakers take their brothers from the settlements that have survived a chlorine fog.
