Description
Kaldreth is a wilderness world in permanent twilight — its parent star, a dying red dwarf, gives just enough light to sustain vegetation, never enough to tell night from day. The population lives in clan bands along the basalt cliffs of the northern continent, hunters and warriors whose entire culture is organised around vigilance.

Fauna & Flora
Pale lichen meadows and dwarf birches that grow in the half-light without ever flowering; cliff birds with large eyes that never quite sleep and are honoured by the clans as watch-ancestors.
Population & Society
Some hundreds of thousands of people in clan bands along the basalt cliffs of the northern continent. The entire culture is built around vigilance: every clan keeps watch in shifts, and a child learns the names of the watchtowers before those of its parents. The Fallwings take their candidates from the cliff watches.
