Description
Edenmere is not a hive world, not a death world, not a forge world. It is a paradise that devours itself every thousand years. The planet has three continents, all covered in forest, all cut through by lakes deeper than the mountain ranges are high. The climate is temperate as a plea.

Fauna & Flora
Forest on all three continents, three metres of humus, lakes with pike and salmon. After a lightning strike the first thing to return is a red moss carpet that smells of smoke.
Population & Society
Some tens of millions in forest cities on the lakes, gathered twice a year for the harvest. Every hundred years the lightning strikes, and every family knows the name of the valley in which its grandmother survived the last one. Of the kettle masters who shaped the casting kettles for three generations, only a few still teach.
