Description
Correnhal is a continental agrarian realm with a single world silo in the highlands of Rothmark. The climate is dry and bitter: long dry seasons and short, violent rains that cut river valleys into the red plains. The population lives on large single farms, often fifty kilometres apart, working black earth and tending sheep.

Fauna & Flora
Black-earth fields of rye and millet, red plains with thornbush; sheep herds driven to the high pastures in the rainy season, and larks that sing out the time above the fields.
Population & Society
Some tens of millions on single farms often fifty kilometres apart. Rank follows age, not strength or cleverness. A third of the pressed labourers were estimators who graded grain by eye; there is no longer a school that teaches it.
