Description
Argentum is a decaying hive world: thirteen million people in twenty half-dead hives that stand in the factory throats like teeth in a rotting jaw. The lowest three kilometres of every hive are darkness — literally, where the current has not flowed for millennia.

Fauna & Flora
No native flora. In the shafts, fungus beds and mould carpets spread, feeding rats and pale shaft woodlice; green exists only in the planter troughs of the upper strata.
Population & Society
Thirteen million people, almost all in the middle strata of the twenty hives. Those who still have a claim to power live above, those who no longer do live below. The black markets that once linked the neighbouring systems have withered since the regiments took their traders and route-finders with them.
